The Sub City Chapter can’t wait to welcome you to Mystic, Connecticut for SSMA’s 2026 National Rally! Throughout the coming months more information will be forthcoming but we are pleased to announce that members can register, purchase room raffle tickets for 4 free nights of their stay at the hotel, make hotel reservations, and purchase their rally t-shirts (coming soon through a custom web portal)!

0900 – 1500: Group rides (self-guided, pick your group)

1700 – 2200: Association gathering at Outer Lights Brewing Company, 50/50 raffle

1800 – 1815: National Road Captain brief on next day’s POD

Friday, June 5th

0800 – 0815:  Colors presented on the green by Silver Dolphins

0800 – 1000: Breakfast specials at Norm’s Diner

0800 – 1000: President’s Meeting (to include 2027 Rally Brief)

0900 – 1500: Group rides (self-guided, pick your group)

1700 – 2200: Association gathering at Outer Lights Brewing Company, 50/50 raffle

1800 – 1815: National Road Captain brief on next day’s POD

Saturday, June 6th

0800 – 0815:  Colors presented on the green by Silver Dolphins

0800 – 1000: Breakfast specials at Jewett City VFW

1000 – 1400: Sub Base boat tours. Groups of 10. Van from / to  hotel (sign up)

1200 – 1500: Cigar rolling demo with Bossman (sign up)

1200 – 1700: Best in Show Bike Contest. Enter your bike! Winner announced at the banquet! (Sign up)

1700 – 2200: Rally Banquet (surf & turf) @ Mystic Marriott, President’s Address, SSMA Award Ceremony, Turnover to 2027 Rally

Sunday, June 7th

0800 – 1100: Checkout of hotel

1000 – 1700: Big Red Motorcycle Poker Run – Charity Ride

General Information:

  • Sub City Chapter members will be at the hotel from 0800 through dinner time to provide assistance
  • There are plenty of places to grab breakfast, including the hotel, though Norm’s Diner will provide a discounted price to our members. Get your tickets during check-in! Additionally, the Jewett City VFW is sponsoring a breakfast at their post Saturday morning.

Rally Registration

Registering for the rally will be accomplished via the ship’s store in the “Events” product area. Each registrant (whether qualified, qualified family member, or associate) is $75. The standard payment method is via credit or debit card. Alternate means of payment (Zelle, Venmo and Paypal) are available. Room Raffle Tickets

Room raffle tickets for the rally will be accomplished via the ship’s store in the “Events” product area. Each ticket is $10. Hotel Reservations

Our rally will be held at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, 625 North Road (Route 117), Groton CT 06340. We have 80 rooms set aside (the rooms are listed under the group name: SSMA) at a rate of $175 per night. Enjoy a spa day and receive a 20% discount on any services! RV'ers

Aces High RV Park – East Lyme, Connecticut (Approximately 10 miles away). They have 35 pull through spots and offer a 10% discount to active duty and veterans. MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY AS THERE IS NO BLOCK/HOLDS! Payment is due at booking and they have a STRICT cancellation policy (20% fee or 100% loss within 14 days of arrival date). Daily rate is $125 – $135 per night.

Tent Camping

Admiral Fife Recreation Area – Overnight camping usually isn’t allowed, but Groton SUBASE owns the area and has tentatively granted permission for us to do this. This will be revisited in October to confirm so reasonable to plan for.
